Bonneville Cycle Club has 2 mailing lists. Ride Calendar, and Announcements

The Ride Calendar is used to discuss Rides and events for the Bonneville Cycling Club. The Announcements E-mail list is used to make general club news and member announcements.

What is an E-mail List?

An E-mail list is an electronic device that enables you to send e-mail to a group of people by typing in one address instead of the address of everyone in the group (talk about a time saver). It is a A convenient way to send e-mail to others who share a common interest - in our case the interest is bicycling. It is a tool for the exchange of ideas and information about cycling and cycling related activities.

How does it work?

You send an email message to the mailing list and your message is then forwarded to everyone who is a member of the list.

How do I become a member of the lists?

To sign up for the E-mail lists select one of the options below. You will be forwarded to another page hosted at Xmission.com Once there, enter your email address, your name and a password. Be sure to remember your password as you may want to use it to edit your preferences and unsubscribe to the lists later. You are welcome to join both lists, if you so desire.

When can I start using the lists?

You can begin to use it immediately after you get your "subscription" confirmation.

Why would I want to use the list?

• Organize an impromptu ride (Use ride calendar)
• Ask members to recommend an orthopedist who specializes in bicycle related ailments (use announcements)
• Ask the members where to buy that exotic bike tool that you need to repair your antique bike (use announcements)
• Ask for an opinion about that commercial tour that you always wanted to ride (use announcements)

How do I use the lists?

To post to these lists, send your email to:
General e-mails: info@bbtc.net .
Ride Calendar: mailinglist@bbtc.net .

If you don't want these emails, but are interested in their content, you can join the list and then set you preferences to not receive email. You can then view the emails like a bulletin board by going to one of the following sites:
