While the new board doesn't take office until December 1st we have already begun to work for the betterment of the club. Mary Margret is busy creating our agenda and focus for the board, Don has already been assuming the role of road captain and is very busy with creating a strong calendar of rides for the coming year. Barbara is very busy working on our online presence and I have been overwhelmed with trying to catch up with what is going on in the community. We haven't been present in our communities for the better part of two years and we have a daunting challange to rebuild our presence and involvement. Read More >>
Good News for Club members that rode at least 500 miles or 10 rides with the club in 2007-2008. The board of directors has voted that we will all receive one of the new club jerseys at NO COST.
Check out the mileage list on the website. You qualify if you rode more than 500 miles or a total of 10 rides or more with the club on approved BCC Ride Calendar rides. A new club jersey will be in your hands in the spring of 2009. If you have not already sent your size information to us, please contact us as soon as possible with your size and style information.

What a great wonderful member benefit of BCC! Thanks to the clothing committee for all their hard work.
BCC has a long tradition of volunteerism and raising money for charity by sponsoring Little Red Riding Hood and the ULCER. Because of BCC’s volunteer efforts, $30,000 dollars will be donated to charity!
$10,000 is going to help develop the "Share the Road" license plates.
$20,000 is being donated to Huntsman for Breast Cancer Research.
The 2009 year is already shaping up. We need your help, your volunteerism to keep things going. Our work is improving lives and the roads that we ride on.
Join the BCC Racing Team at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st for a seminar that will provide information and answer questions. This meeting is for those who are currently racing or those would simply like to learn more about how to get started in racing. And related, how to get involved with training and racing with the BCC Racing Team. Have you thought about doing some races but didn't know how to get started? Did know that Bonneville Cycling Club had a Racing Team but didn't know you could get involved? If so you are a "yes" on any of these questions this meeting is for you!
The agenda will include the basics of how to get started racing, 2009 training plans, and what races will be focus on in 2009. Members of the current team will be in attendance and participating in the meeting. Bonneville Cycle Club members, as well as interested guests, who may be interested in Joining BCC and the BCC Racing Team, are invited.

The Clothing Committee has released their new line and the fashion critics are raving and applauding the color scheme, design and functionality. There is something for everyone in this year’s selection! Offerings include a sleeveless jersey, sleeved jersey, a jacket for those chilly rides, shorts and even gloves.

The Bonneville Cycling Club of Utah (BCCUtah) is a club of road, tandem and mountain bike enthusiasts providing a structure for cyclists, of all levels, to meet and cycle together. The club organizes a wide variety of rides to meet the needs of cyclists of all abilities. Rides are listed under the Ride Calendar, non-members are welcome on any ride. BCCUtah recognizes its responsibility to be a contributing member of our community and as such donates a portion of our major fund raising events to charitable organizations.
