Are You Ready to be a Hero?
The Hometown Heroes program, through the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, is designed to help participants reach their endurance goals while raising much-needed funds for cancer research at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). The Hometown Hero’s program was started in 2004 and to date has raised over $2.5 million dollars for cancer research. Hometown Heroes can choose from a variety of partnering events, including Little Red Riding Hood, and receive help in training and fundraising to meet their goals.
Huntsman Hometown Heroes (HHH) has joined forces with Little Red Riding Hood! Only 150 spots are available for the Little Red HHH team. Get a guaranteed spot in Little Red Riding Hood by joining the Hometown Heroes program. Last year, Little Red and HHH riders raised over $130,000 to fight cancer in women.
For your part in the HHH program, HCF gives you a guaranteed spot in the ride, a fundraising webpage to gather donations from friends and family, a team jersey, and a team celebration in Logan! To participate, each HERO commits to fundraising a minimum of $500 for cancer research at the
Huntsman Cancer Institute.
All funds raised are donated to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation and will be earmarked to directly fund breast and ovarian cancer research.
Huntsman Cancer Foundation’s sole purpose is to fund the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute: to understand cancer from its beginnings, to use that knowledge in the creation and improvement of cancer treatments, to relieve the suffering of cancer patients, and to provide education about cancer risk, prevention, and care.
Become a Hometown Hero today and make a difference in your community and in the lives of those affected by cancer.
